Active International UK names new Managing Director Cameron Swan

We have announced the appointment of Cameron Swan as Managing Director of Active International UK.

Swan will relocate from Sydney, where he is currently the Group Managing Director of Active International Australia and Involved Media, to London and take up his role at a date to be advised later this summer. He will report to Active International Chief Executive Officer, Dean Wilson.

Swan originally joined Active International Australia in 2009 and was appointed Managing Director in 2015 bringing over 10 years’ experience in the corporate trade business and overall media industry.

Dean Wilson said: “Cameron has proven to be an influential leader within our global business and has played an integral part in our business transformation and our growth to date.

Swan said “The UK team is commercially strong, innovative and passionate which makes the Active offering compelling for every brand across every category. I am very excited to be taking for the opportunity to face my next challenge within the Active family”.

Swan will be taking on the role from Gemma Atkinson, who held the position as acting Managing Director in the UK in addition to her role of Chief Operating Officer, International Division.

The new structure is set to ensure strong leadership for both local and international operations to match Active’s growth trajectory.

The global company has operations across 14 countries, with more than 600 commercial, marketing and media experts.
