Weathering the Storm with Celebrity Cruises

For nearly two years the travel sector has been dominated by uncertainty as the pandemic threatened to unsettle tour operators, hotels, airlines, cruise companies and more.

The good news is that cruising is back following the successful 2021 restart season. The operating pause has enabled Celebrity Cruises to return stronger and sharpen their definition of what it means to be a luxury brand.

Watch the first episode in 2022 of our ‘Conversations with Clients’ webinar series. We spoke with Gerard Nolan, Associate Vice President, Commercial EMEA at Celebrity Cruises on how Celebrity has navigated its way through the most challenging conditions the industry has faced, and how working with Active International and incorporating Corporate Trade has helped their business.

This webinar is especially relevant to other travel businesses looking for innovative solutions for unsold inventory and a guaranteed ROI on their advertising / marketing spend. Click here for more information on how we work with Travel businesses.

Celebrity Cruises Success Story

The model we most commonly use with our Travel clients is Guaranteed New Sales. This is the model that enabled Celebrity Cruises to use their cruise inventory to part fund their new ‘Isn’t it time?’ TV campaign in the Autumn of 2021.

We have an in-house B2B and B2C Travel agency fully accredited with ABTA and ATOL. We sold the Celebrity Cruises inventory through our private networks and corporate partner relationships.
