The Childline Ultimate Sports Day is more than just a day of fun and competition; it is a testament to the industry’s unity with a shared goal. On Thursday, July 19th, 450 influential media figures from some of the biggest brands gathered together in London’s Regents Park, all aiming to raise £175,000 for the NSPCC’s Childline Service. Active was delighted to sponsor the event and compete with our own team.

The event featured various sporting challenges, with teams competing to be crowned the Childline Ultimate Sports Day champions and win the coveted trophy. The atmosphere was electric, filled with camaraderie and a competitive spirit, all for a wonderful cause.

Kathleen Saxton, Chair, Ultimate Sports Day Committee, said:

“This day would not happen without all of you who take a team, so thank you for finding and committing that budget. We especially need to thank Dean, Cameron and those at Active International for their Headline Sponsorship here in London (and at the inaugural Quizmaster’s of the Manchester MediaVerse) who, along with Ocean Outdoor, have made such a difference to the charity this year.”

We are thrilled to announce that this year’s event was a huge success, with the final total currently standing at £185,000. This incredible amount will help us answer 46,250 contacts from children and young people who need our support.

Thank you to everyone who contributed. Over the past three years, this event has raised an impressive £1,070,000, making a significant impact on the lives of children and young people who need our help the most.
