Active International is officially one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing!

Active International has officially been named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing (2023) by Great Place to Work®, the global authority on workplace culture.

Great Place to Work’s culture experts analysed thousands of employee surveys, assessing people’s holistic experiences of wellbeing at work to determine the UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing list. The surveys asked employees to comment on how their company supports their work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, psychological safety and financial security. Evaluations also included assessing how well the organisation could deliver consistency of their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.

John Charlesworth, Director of Client Relations, said: “Our biggest asset is our team. Ensuring they feel supported, challenged and achieve balance inside and outside work is of significant importance to us as a business and something we will continue to improve and develop as we work in the new hybrid world.”

“At the heart of every organisation are its people, and looking after their wellbeing should be much more than a package of impressive perks on a careers website,” explains Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place to Work® UK. “We know when employees feel genuinely contented, and at ease within their roles, they are much more engaged and productive. Now in our second year of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing list, we’re again able to showcase the leading organisations providing cultures conducive to outstanding psychological, physical and social wellbeing. A huge congratulations to Active International for making this prestigious list.”

“Wellbeing at Active is a continued commitment to investing in our people, who are the beating heart of any business. We believe wellbeing is physical, emotional, intellectual, and social, which informs how we work and the way we work. We take time to care and connect.” stated Gemma Atkinson, Global Chief People Officer at Active International.
