Active is a proud supporter of NABS, promoting and assisting their work to advance mental wellness within the advertising and media industry.

Walk & Talk for NABS is a special meet-up for adlanders, helping participants expand their network along a 13 km walking route in London, between Canary Wharf and St Katherine’s Dock, whilst raising money.

This year, the event took place on 10 July, and walkers were joined by twenty mentors, including Natalie Bell, Stuart Flint, Karen Stacey, Jane Wolfson, Jamie McCloskey, and Josh Krichefski, who shared their words of wisdom.

Active was delighted to be this year’s Rest Stop Partner, supplying food and drinks to walkers at the halfway point.

Anna Randles, NABS Head of Events, said:

“Thank you for Active’s brilliant support of Walk & Talk for NABS. It means the world to us, not only in helping to raise vital funds for our services but also in bringing people in our industry together to connect, chat, and look after their mental wellness.  Thank you to the team for providing our walkers with a welcoming rest stop full of great snacks, drinks, and happy faces!

The event was buzzing with great energy, and thanks to partners like you, we can keep making these moments happen. Your commitment helps ensure that no one in our industry has to face tough times alone, and we’re so grateful for that.”

Over 100 people walked, talked, and showed up for better mental wellness in our industry at Walk & Talk – together raising an incredible £27,000 for NABS!

Every step and every pound raised means more support, guidance, and help for those navigating the toughest moments of their careers or lives.
