On Wednesday 25 September, Active’s agency team descended upon Manchester to attend what was dubbed, “the event of the season”. NABS Fashion Show 2024 brought the carnival vibes, with the gathering of leaders and future leaders from the North West’s adland partying like it’s going out of fashion!

Active International UK was proud to support the show, providing welcome drinks and raffle prizes, whilst River Island were NABS’ Fashion Partner. Media and advertising industry movers and shakers modelled the brand’s Menswear and Womenswear.

The Fashion Show gives the opportunity for those who prefer not to model to sit back and spectate at a table, enjoy the show and a three course meal. The show was followed by a raffle, entertainment, and dancing. With a make-up station on site at Audacious Church too, guests also had the option to get themselves glittered up!

Active is proud to support NABS due to the vital work they do. NABS provides several vital services to support the advertising, marketing, and media community. They received 4,500 calls to their Advice Line in 2023, which was a 13% increase year-over-year.

NABS offers a variety of services including:

  • Training and workshops: They organize expert-led sessions on topics such as anxiety and ADHD, offering coping strategies and techniques.
  • Grants: They offer grants to support individuals in need.

These services are aimed at advancing mental wellness and supporting the overall well-being of the media and advertising community. This aligns with Active International’s own core commitment to wellbeing and inclusion.
