Active supports Best Workplaces in Travel 

Active has a core commitment to workplace culture and over 30 years of experience bringing value to the biggest names in travel. That’s why it was our pleasure to support Best Workplaces in Travel.  
 
The #BWITAWARDS was launched to celebrate the importance of attracting, engaging, and retaining talent in the travel industry. Awards night took place on Monday 10th June. We sponsored the award for Performance Recognition, which was won by Holiday Architects and picked up by founder Andrew Hunt
 
Gail Kenny co-founded the awards in 2020 to recognise and celebrate travel brands who excel in employee engagement. She was appointed to the Board of Directors at AWTE (Association of Women in Travel and Enterprise) in 2022. 

Best Workplaces in Travel is an annual employee engagement survey plus recognition awards. Participating organisations receive their own survey results with data to inform their strategic planning and enable business improvements, which in turn drives progress onto the list. It operates in partnership with workplace culture expert, Hendrick & Hyde, and is powered by Korero Technology.

Kelly Davies, our Business Services Manager, has 20 years travel experience and has worked at Active since 2019. Kelly ensures we utilise the travel, goods and services inventory on our books and she delivers best-in-class customer service to all our partners.
